Rob Green - Founder & Managing Director

Rob Green is the founder and managing director of RK Educational Solutions Ltd.

Lianne Fink – Setting Manager

Lianne has been a member of the team for nearly seven years, initially as an Early Years Practitioner, then Nursery Manager and now as Setting Manager since September 2018.  She is also the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the setting and has significant experience  working with children that have additional needs or behavioural problems.

Claire Rogers – Butterfly Manager

Claire is the longest serving member of the team and has been Pre-school Manager for 10 years.  With a wealth of experience and a level 4 qualification in Childcare & Education she is a dedicated & professional early years practitioner.  As one of our SENCO’s Claire also has experience of working with children that have additional needs.

Bryony Whitehead – Caterpillar Manager

Bryony joined the setting in early 2019 after working with children for 6 years including a period of time as a childminder.  Level 3 qualified, Bryony brings experience, organisation, and sometimes cake to the team!

Carlie Rigby

Carlie joined the setting in 2016 and has worked her way up through the ranks to manager of the Cocoons. Always full of life, Carlie’s enthusiasm motivates all those she works with.

Claire Spurdle - Senior Early Years Educator and Setting SENCo

Following an established career in nursery management and most recently a paediatric, clinical role in Yeovil District Hospital, Claire joined us at the start of the year as part of the management team. Claire’s focus is on working with children that need any additional support including those with any specialist educational needs or have English as an additional language. In addition Claire will be monitoring the standard of our practice and working with the whole team to raise standards wherever possible.

Milly Rendell – Team Leader & Chef

Milly is level 3 qualified in both Catering and Childcare & Education.  Dedicated & flexible during her 8 years in the setting she was worked as a practitioner, chef, & team leader.  Milly has huge experience working with children of all ages.

Lisa Rendall - Early Years Educator

Lisa is qualified to level 4 in Early Years Practice as well as Forest School.

Angela Smith – Early Years Educator

Angela has a level 2 qualification in Early Childhood Studies and joined the team 7 years ago.  Always positive and supportive, Angela works closely with parents to help their children settle and develop positive routines.

Sophie Slade - Trainee Early Years Educator

Since joining us in 2020 following a career change, Sophie has already made a huge impact and is well on the way to her level 3 Early Years qualification.

Linda Jackman - Team Leader

Linda joined us after 5 years working at Little Gryphons. She is level 3 qualified and is also a qualified SENCO with additional training in Autism and supporting children with complex needs into their first year at school.

Sharon Everett – Early Years Educator

As a parent of 2 children that started the setting some 10 years ago, Sharon joined the team nearly 4 years ago bringing a level 3 NNEB qualification plus over 10 years of previous childcare experience.  Outside play is Sharon’s passion and enjoys getting outside with the children whatever the weather.

Rachel Smith - Team Leader

With a BA Honours Degree in Early Childhood Studies, Rachel has worked extensively in early years settings. Her last position was as Nursery Manager at Cuddles & Care Day Nursery.

Sophie Whitmarsh - Apprentice Early Years Educator

Due to some indifferent experiences in the past we rarely offer apprenticeships but Sophie has proved to be exceptional.  Her level 3 qualification is well underway and she definitely has a great future ahead of her.

Alex joined us in 2016 and even with English as her second language achieved her level 3 qualification in 2018, a fantastic achievement.

After completing her advanced apprenticeship with Smartees Day Care in Yeovil, Jodie joined us in 2019 following the move to our new premises.

After completing her apprenticeship at Kingfisher Primary School, Jasmine joined us as an Early Years Educator.

Jenna Bowden - Team Leader

With nearly 7 years experience in childcare, Jenna joined us in January 2021.  Currently Team Leader in the Caterpillar room, Jenna’s excellent practice makes her a role model for all.

Amy Haynes-Fry - Early Years Educator

Following on from her Developmental Psychology Degree Amy is in the final stages of her level 3 Early Years training.  Amy’s understanding of child development has helped to give us further insight into children’s learning and development.

Beth Wild - Teacher

Beth joined the team in 2015 as our qualified teacher.  Working with the pre-school children Beth’s understanding of both Early Years and Primary education makes sure children are always prepared for starting their reception year each September.

Caprice Dehmel - Early Years Educator

Caprice joined us in 2020 bringing a wealth of experience after her role as room leader in her previous setting. Caprice has proved to be a fantastic addition to the team and is loved by all the children.
