The Importance of a good meal!

Milly, our qualified chef, prepares and cooks wonderful snacks and lunches for our children.  On no occasion has Milly not achieved the maximum 5 Star Rating from her Environmental Health Inspections.  Everything is cooked on site in our kitchen and fresh produce used wherever possible with twice weekly ingredient deliveries.  Each term, Milly changes the menu to reflect the time of year and the ingredients that are in season. 

 A child that attends our setting will always be offered a minimum of 7 fruit or vegetable portions per day, meeting the most up to date government recommendations.  Each day the children have 2 courses.  This is alternated between a starter & main course and a main course & dessert.  Fresh milk and water are always available with all snacks and meals.

 A range of individual dietary needs can be catered for that meet religious, chronic condition, or parental choice requirements.  Milly has never had a dietary requirement she couldn’t cater for!  All snacks and meals are prepared and served in a way that is age appropriate to ensure safety and the ability for the children to develop feeding skills of their own.

If your child doesn’t currently have a cooked lunch but would like to give it a try, please speak to your child’s key worker who can organise a weeks free trial.
